NYJA Statement Calling on Governor Cuomo to Resign

The New York Jewish Agenda (NYJA) issued the following statement:
“The New York Jewish Agenda, the voice for liberal mainstream Jews in New York, is guided by a set of core Jewish and democratic values, including dignity and responsibility.
The credible, serious allegations against Governor Cuomo, and the manner in which he has responded to them, fail to live up to those values. While he is entitled to due process in determining his legal responsibility for his actions, he has lost public trust and confidence in his leadership and must take political responsibility.
We join the elected officials in our NYJA Leaders Network, including federal, state, and local officials, who are unanimous in calling upon Governor Cuomo to resign from office immediately.”
