NYJA hosted a webinar to learn more about what the WZC is, why and how we should get involved, and why NYJA has endorsed the Hatikvah Slate. It featured our Board Chair Nancy Kaufman; Nomi Colton-Max, Co-Chair of the Hatikvah Slate and New Jewish Narrative (NJN), and Vice President of Programming at American Zionist Movement; and Jonathan Taubes, Youth Outreach Lead and Hatikvah Slate member.
NYJA finds hope in the work of our partners on the Hatikvah Slate running for the World Zionist Congress (WZC) – the Jewish people’s parliament – who are working to ensure that Israel lives up to its highest values, for all of its inhabitants and neighbors.
On March 10th the WZC elections open, directly impacting the flow of $5 billion across the Jewish world over the next five years, and we want to make sure the people making these decisions for Israel and the Jewish community are aligned with our vision.
