Dear Friend,
The New York Jewish Agenda (NYJA) is delighted to invite you to the next event in the “On the Agenda” discussion series, our first-ever NYC Mayoral Candidates Forum. We will hear from the front-runners who are competing to lead New York City through the next four critical years. We are really looking forward to introducing these candidates to the NYJA community and to our values, positions and priorities.
The forum will take place via Zoom webinar on Thursday, February 18th from 2:00 – 4:00 PM, and registration is free at this link. The candidates confirmed to attend are: Eric Adams, Shaun Donovan, Kathryn Garcia, Ray McGuire, Carlos Menchaca, Dianne Morales, Scott Stringer, Loree Sutton, Maya Wiley, and Andrew Yang. We are thrilled that Randi Weingarten, member of the NYJA Leaders Network and President of the American Federation of Teachers, will moderate the forum.
When you register for the forum, you will have the opportunity to submit suggested questions for the candidates. We will review these submissions with Randi as we prepare the questions she will ask.
We remain extremely grateful for the support of our “On the Agenda” Sponsors (listed below), without whom this event would not be possible. You can join them as a Sponsor by donating at the level of $360 or above. Of course, we welcome your support at any level.
For the latest updates on our work, please follow us on Twitter at @NYJewishAgenda or on our Facebook page. We look forward to seeing you on the 18th! .
Warm regards,
Matt Nosanchuk
